In February 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The Artist'S Model by Marina Marina. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,742.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marina Marina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ready For Bed in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,890.68).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Artist'S Model von Marina Marina zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.742,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marina Marina auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ready For Bed im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.890,68).
