Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Family At Rest by Marie Yvonne Laur. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,539.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marie Yvonne Laur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Goldfish Bowl in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,691.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Family At Rest von Marie Yvonne Laur zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.539,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marie Yvonne Laur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Goldfish Bowl im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.800,00 (€ 16.691,07).
