Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Gold Boxes and Portrait Miniatures, which included the work Comtesse de Genlis (1746-1831), Seated On A Wooden Chair, In White Dress With Brown Sash, White Scarf Tied In A Bow At Neck, Gold Hoop Earrings, Straw Bonnet In Her Powdered Curling Hair Tied With Long Brown Satin Ribbons; Foliate And Landscape Backg by Marie-Gabrielle Capet. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marie-Gabrielle Capet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait De François-André Vincent, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Gold Boxes and Portrait Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Comtesse de Genlis (1746-1831), Seated On A Wooden Chair, In White Dress With Brown Sash, White Scarf Tied In A Bow At Neck, Gold Hoop Earrings, Straw Bonnet In Her Powdered Curling Hair Tied With Long Brown Satin Ribbons; Foliate And Landscape Backg von Marie-Gabrielle Capet zur Versteigerung kam.
