Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Humankind by Maria Siniakova. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,730.54). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maria Siniakova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91).
