The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,355.00 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maria Pop; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View of Kastella sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of GBP 6,312.00 (€ 7,411.83).
