Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marie Vassilieff could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Still Life With Masks In A Window changed hands for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,476.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marie Vassilieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nu in April 2021 with an auction result of EUR 680,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marie Vassilieff konnte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Masks In A Window für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.476,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marie Vassilieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 680.000,00.
