Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two figures and a horse by Mari Andriessen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mari Andriessen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Design For Anne Frank, Standing, which sold at auction in March 2009 for EUR 4,750.00.

Die Arbeit Two figures and a horse von Mari Andriessen kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mari Andriessen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Design For Anne Frank, Standing beobachtet, die im März 2009 für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert wurde.
