Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Come On" by Margaret Collyer was sold in the Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 880.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Margaret Collyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waiting for the mistress in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,452.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Come On" von Margaret Collyer wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 880,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaret Collyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waiting for the mistress im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.452,38).
