Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Pewter by Marek Zulawski for GBP 48.00 (€ 69.91). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marek Zulawski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grapes and lemons in a bowl, on a table in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,417.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pewter von Marek Zulawski für GBP 48,00 (€ 69,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marek Zulawski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grapes and lemons in a bowl, on a table im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.417,26).
