This artwork by Marcus Mårtenson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. In the Böttiger Collection H067 auction, the work "Calm Down" sold for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 931.59) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcus Mårtenson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Famous excuses 2013" in April last year with an auction result of SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,646.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcus Mårtenson erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 wurde die Arbeit "Calm Down" für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 931,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcus Mårtenson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Famous excuses 2013" im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.646,48).
