A top price for Marco Petrus - as previously expected
The work Senza Titolo by Marco Petrus was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Senza Titolo is the most expensive artwork by Marco Petrus that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Marco Petrus kam im Mai 2009 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Senza Titolo das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marco Petrus, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
