Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Annunciation by Marco Palmezzano was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 36,862.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Marco Palmezzano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Christ Carrying The Cross in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 167,113.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Annunciation von Marco Palmezzano kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 36.862,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marco Palmezzano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Christ Carrying The Cross im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 167.113,30).
