Die Arbeit 5-1 von Marco Gastini kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marco Gastini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Graffi Di Oseberg Si Disegnano Nel Buio im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.150,00.
