This artwork by Marco Davanzo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in June 2006. In the 19th Century Pictures auction, the work Contadina sold for EUR 1,736.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marco Davanzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ritorno Nel Paesaggio Innevato, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 5,208.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 93 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marco Davanzo erzielte im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century Pictures wurde die Arbeit Contadina für EUR 1.736,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marco Davanzo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ritorno Nel Paesaggio Innevato beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 5.208,00 versteigert wurde.
