Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glaze painting, phthalocyanine blue/ruby lake deep. 2003. by Marcia Hafif was sold in the PostWar & Contemporary auction at Koller in June this year. It changed hands for a price of CHF 7,500.00 (€ 7,675.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcia Hafif have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work #196 in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 56,312.00 (€ 63,587.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glaze painting, phthalocyanine blue/ruby lake deep. 2003. von Marcia Hafif wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion PostWar & Contemporary bei Koller versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 7.500,00 (€ 7.675,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcia Hafif auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit #196 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.312,00 (€ 63.587,78).
