Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work French reclining Nude On A Rug by Marcel René von Herrfeldt. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,630.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel René von Herrfeldt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Reclining Nude On A Rug in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,239.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French reclining Nude On A Rug von Marcel René von Herrfeldt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.630,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel René von Herrfeldt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Reclining Nude On A Rug im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 38.239,24).
