Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Renard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Le Rhône Et La Saône' A Gilt-Plaster Architectural Maquette For A Bridge Ornament In The City Of Lyon, 1936, which sold at auction in December 2007 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,551.80).
