Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A gilt and shaded bronze model of a satyr and faun by Marcel Andre Bouraine was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 892.50 (€ 1,029.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Andre Bouraine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Penthesila, Queen Of The Amazons in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,065.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A gilt and shaded bronze model of a satyr and faun von Marcel Andre Bouraine kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 892,50 (€ 1.029,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Andre Bouraine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Penthesila, Queen Of The Amazons im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.065,69).
