Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Why Go Home? by Marc Fernand Severin was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,175.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Fernand Severin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Way Home, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,779.99).
