Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Cirque sur fond bleu by Marc Chagall was sold in the Art Impressionniste & Moderne - Oeuvres choisies, incluant Wave of Dreams. A private surrealist collection auction at Christies in Paris in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 504,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Cirque sur fond bleu von Marc Chagall wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art Impressionniste & Moderne - Oeuvres choisies, incluant Wave of Dreams. A private surrealist collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 504.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
