Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bench #4 by Manuella Guiragossian was sold in the Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,179.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuella Guiragossian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wildlife, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,952.98).

Die Arbeit Bench #4 von Manuella Guiragossian wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.179,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuella Guiragossian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wildlife beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.952,98) versteigert wurde.
