Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cercle Monochrome Rouge - 2005 by Manuel Merida was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,700.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuel Merida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cercle Blanc, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cercle Monochrome Rouge - 2005 von Manuel Merida kam im Oktober 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.700,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuel Merida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cercle Blanc beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
