In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Oimatsu (Old pine trees), 1927 sold for USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,944.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. This high result makes Oimatsu (Old pine trees), 1927 the most expensive artwork by Mano Kyōtei that we have observed at auctions so far.
