A top price for Manisha Parekh - as previously expected
In July 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Bonding 2 by Manisha Parekh. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,003.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bonding 2 is the most expensive artwork by Manisha Parekh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bonding 2 von Manisha Parekh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.003,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bonding 2 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Manisha Parekh, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
