A top price for Mamus Esiebo - as previously expected
The work Thanksgiving Dinning, 2021 by Mamus Esiebo was sold in the African Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,936.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Thanksgiving Dinning, 2021 is the most expensive artwork by Mamus Esiebo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Thanksgiving Dinning, 2021 von Mamus Esiebo wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion African Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.936,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Thanksgiving Dinning, 2021 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mamus Esiebo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
