The work Mambokubrick, 2011 by Mambo was sold in the Urban Art auction at Artcurial in February 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,950.00 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mambo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, 2008, which sold at auction in February 2012 for EUR 4,845.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mambokubrick, 2011 von Mambo wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Urban Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.950,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mambo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2008 beobachtet, die im Februar 2012 für EUR 4.845,00 versteigert wurde.
