A top price for Maher Raief
In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Maher Raief. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,198.57). With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Maher Raief that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Maher Raief zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.198,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Maher Raief, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
