Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Maha Malluh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2011. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art auction, the work Unveiled (from the series Tradition and Modernity) sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maha Malluh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saudifood For Thought, Assabeel (From The Food For Thought 9000 Series), which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,014.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maha Malluh erzielte im April 2011 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art wurde die Arbeit Unveiled (from the series Tradition and Modernity) für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.494,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maha Malluh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saudifood For Thought, Assabeel (From The Food For Thought 9000 Series) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.014,04) versteigert wurde.
