The work Studie av strandvegetation; a tergo studie av bruksdamm by Magnus von Wright was sold in the Autumn Classic sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2009. The auction ended at the price of SEK 6,000.00 (€ 572.23), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Magnus von Wright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View From Kaukola. in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.

Die Arbeit Studie av strandvegetation; a tergo studie av bruksdamm von Magnus von Wright wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Autumn Classic sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 6.000,00 (€ 572,23) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Magnus von Wright erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View From Kaukola. im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
