Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maerten de Cock; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paysage Fluvial Avec Un Ermite En Prière Et Une Bâtisse Fortifiée Sur Une Colline sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of EUR 12,000.00.
