Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Madeleine Pyk could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Tinger changed hands for SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,375.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Madeleine Pyk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Croquet in October 2013 with an auction result of SEK 310,000.00 (€ 35,802.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Madeleine Pyk konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit Tinger für SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.375,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Madeleine Pyk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Croquet im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 310.000,00 (€ 35.802,56).
