Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,807.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by MacDonald Gill - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peter Pan Map of Kensington Gardens, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,879.09).
