In July 2003 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH ART ON PAPER INCLUDING ORIGINAL BOOK ILLUSTRATIONS, which included the work Jimmy Jumbo makes a fine noise and how you love it, girls and boys! by Mabel Lucie Attwell. The price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,382.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00.
