A top price for Ma Ming
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Passion by Ma Ming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,556.78), 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Passion the most expensive artwork by Ma Ming that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Passion von Ma Ming zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.556,78) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Passion zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Ma Ming, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
