The work Internal Injury by Ma Baozhong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 39,155.53) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Baozhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 19 December, 1984 in June 2007 with an auction result of HKD 17,120,000.00 (€ 1,619,562.13).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Internal Injury von Ma Baozhong kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 39.155,53) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Baozhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 19 December, 1984 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.120.000,00 (€ 1.619.562,13).
