The work Ganesh With Consort by M. Reddeppa Naidu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,804.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ganesh With Consort is the most expensive artwork by M. Reddeppa Naidu that we have observed at auctions so far.
