Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2003 Christies in Paris held the auction COLLECTION VALERIAN RYBAR ET JEAN-FRANCOIS DAIGRE, which included the work Ecorché de dos by M. Brieux. The price achieved of EUR 470.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by M. Brieux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition aux Ecorchés, which sold at auction in June 2003 for EUR 1,175.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion COLLECTION VALERIAN RYBAR ET JEAN-FRANCOIS DAIGRE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ecorché de dos von M. Brieux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 470,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von M. Brieux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition aux Ecorchés beobachtet, die im Juni 2003 für EUR 1.175,00 versteigert wurde.
