Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Greek the Acropolis, Athens by Lykourgos Kogevinas. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,450.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lykourgos Kogevinas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Crete in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek the Acropolis, Athens von Lykourgos Kogevinas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.450,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lykourgos Kogevinas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Crete im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.226,88).
