In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Self Portrait With Letter by Lydia Dmitrievskij. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 50,190.00 (€ 72,198.04), 43% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lydia Dmitrievskij have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 132,000.00 (€ 104,562.74) in April 2006 for the work After The Bath.
