Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Luplau Janssen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work An interior with a little boy stretching for the door handle changed hands for DKK 2,400.00 (€ 321.96) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luplau Janssen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Greenlandic fiord with umiaks and kayaks in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 17,000.00 (€ 14,857.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luplau Janssen konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit An interior with a little boy stretching for the door handle für DKK 2.400,00 (€ 321,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luplau Janssen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Greenlandic fiord with umiaks and kayaks im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 17.000,00 (€ 14.857,54).
