Despite a disappointment, a good price for Luis García Guerrero
When the work Cebollas by Luis García Guerrero was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,480.71). Despite this disappointing result, Cebollas is the most expensive artwork by Luis García Guerrero that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Cebollas von Luis García Guerrero im Mai 2006 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
