Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luigi Russolo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March last year. In the The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale auction, the work Specchio della verità (recto); Studio degli alberi (verso) sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,232.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Russolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il sole nascosto, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,981.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Russolo erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale wurde die Arbeit Specchio della verità (recto); Studio degli alberi (verso) für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.232,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Russolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il sole nascosto beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.981,82) versteigert wurde.
