Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Veduta della Gran Mole Adriana, e Ponte Elio in oggi Ponte e Castel St Angelo; and Veduta del Ponte Rotto by Luigi Rossini. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 966.16). Admittedly, works by Luigi Rossini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Saint Peter and the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,527.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Veduta della Gran Mole Adriana, e Ponte Elio in oggi Ponte e Castel St Angelo; and Veduta del Ponte Rotto von Luigi Rossini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 966,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Rossini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Saint Peter and the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.527,33).
