Despite a disappointment, a good price for Luigi Rossi
This work of art by Luigi Rossi could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Strada Di Marsala changed hands for EUR 12,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Strada Di Marsala is the most expensive artwork by Luigi Rossi that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Rossi konnte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Strada Di Marsala für EUR 12.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
