This artwork by Luigi Moretti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in November 2002. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Venezia alla Salute sold for EUR 3,968.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luigi Moretti; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Venetian Canal sold at auction in June 2003 with the realized price of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,221.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Moretti erzielte im November 2002 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wurde die Arbeit Venezia alla Salute für EUR 3.968,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Luigi Moretti; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Venetian Canal im Juni 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.221,35).
