A top price for Luigi Crisconio - as previously expected
The work Piazza Di Sorrento; Meta Di Sorrento by Luigi Crisconio was sold in the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 5,760.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Piazza Di Sorrento; Meta Di Sorrento is the most expensive artwork by Luigi Crisconio that we have observed at auctions so far.
