Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The Choir of St. Ambrosius by Luigi Bisi was auctioned at Il Ponte in March 2013. The result of EUR 25,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 28,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Bisi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Veduta del fianco settentrionale del Duomo di Milano; ritorno dal Te Deum la mattina del 9 giugno 1859, which sold at auction in April 2015 for EUR 90,000.00.
