Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work A small child in a white dress by Ludvig Find was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ludvig Find - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A boy reading, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit A small child in a white dress von Ludvig Find im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,11) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ludvig Find mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A boy reading beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,59) versteigert wurde.
