Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstract Composition by Lucy L'Engle was sold in the DiscoveryInteriors | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 318.75 (€ 293.18). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy L'Engle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 9,000.00 (€ 6,564.07).

Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Lucy L'Engle wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion DiscoveryInteriors | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 318,75 (€ 293,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy L'Engle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.000,00 (€ 6.564,07).
