Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Nut Tree by Lucien Pissarro was sold in the Modern British Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,199.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouvernes, près Lagny in October this year with an auction result of EUR 352,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Nut Tree von Lucien Pissarro wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.199,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouvernes, près Lagny im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 352.800,00.
